here's a quick video from h-d highlighting some of the colors for 2022.

That olive drab greenish color looks like it could make for a very cool combo on a blacked out special!

@skratch Thanks for sharing Bro!
Reef Blue and Redline Red look good to me.
Bet they both would look great blacked out also.

Thanks Skratch for sharing this. Most all of my bikes have been blue . . . . so that Reef Blue and the RB/Vivid Black combination look good to me.

I like the Blue on the Pan American tank, but I don't plan on buying one. The other colors are ok, but nothing that would make me think about getting another bike. I'm hoping 23 will bring something new, (maybe in a water cooled engine), otherwise I'll be holding on to mine for a few more years.

This! I bought my 21 planning on riding it until HD touring comes out with a water cooled engine to compete with Indian, or 10 years whichever comes first haha

So Dave, have you already given up on getting any significant upgrades, or new models for 2022? We know they're launching the new "Sportster", and we assume the "Bronx" will be right behind it, so I'd guess a new touring platform for '22 is not likely to happen.

i think that there may be more colors than this, seems like a limited palette right now. i dunno, i'm not in the market for anything new, my 2019 is new enough for me right now, but i always look forward to seeing what is coming down the pike. i also try to look at the stuff with an open mind, regardless of how i felt at first look. and most of the time, what i didn't like at first turns out to be what i do like, and what i liked at first, turns out to be my least favorite.

I'm kinda surprised to see Gunship Gray on the list being it was a CVO color. H-D usually doesn't CVO paint on main line bikes, even if it is an older color.

i noticed that as well. couldn't help but think that doing something like that was gonna piss off a lot of cvo owners....

I wonder if perhaps they will split the difference and keep it off the touring models. Cause yeah if you can buy a 2022 RGS in Gunship Grey thats going to certainly ruffle some feathers.

They did the same thing with Tequila Sunrise. 2010 CVO color and available on regular models in 2012. Same name but a different shade of orange.

I just took my bike to a 128, so I think that will hold me for awhile, lol. If they take the new motor, give it a slightly larger displacement and put it in a touring frame, ie Road Glide, I'm there. Until then I'll be holding on to my current inventory.

So, I guess the MoCo figures they will have tires and computer chips to release new bikes.
Had a chapter meeting couple nights ago and the General Mgr of the store said she normally has 6 pages of backordered parts, she now has 70 pages. She also said they have a supply of tires (OEM Dunlops) but expect a tire shortage after the first of the year.....IDK

I talked with a person at RevZilla today, they expect to have more tires in stock by early October. I hope it's true. I don't know if the chips are affecting bikes the same as cars. Funny thing in my area most car lots have plenty cars.

Revzilla told me last month to expect tires middle of Sept, so now its pushed back to Oct?
At least they will be factory fresh
My OEM tires look like they will be hard pressed to make 12K miles and I don't do burnouts.
I will not waste my money on the OEM tires...... I do like the American Elites
As soon as Revzilla has my size, Iam buying 2 sets

Over the past 3 years I likely would have opened my wallet for a new aluminum frame/single sided swingarm frame that along with some attention to weight savings on other heavy parts, would have reduced weight by 100 lbs. Add some real suspension as standard equipment and sign me up, But they've missed the buying window with me. I figure that I'll likely only get another couple years on a 900 lb. bike so it doesn't make sense to buy new from here on out.
